Controversial ban on single player mods
Rockstar are continuing to churn out content and updates for GTA V’s online mode. Up until recently Rockstar have been under fire from the online player base. The result of an update which banned the use of mods in single player mode. The updated resulted in a large number of players receiving permanent bans. Some players insist they had not used mods and claimed the ban was unfairly applied but that’s nothing new.
Take-Two, owners of Rockstar and 2K Games, promptly lifted the ban on the use of mods in single player mode. This comes after the game received a huge influx of negative reviews on Steam. Eventually GTA V received a ‘Mixed’ review score overall. Rockstar appear to be winning back the hearts of the players as it continues to release quality updates based around the hyped Route 68 Bunker.
Latest GTA Updates
The latest GTA V online update is now live, and brings with it the new Ocelot XA-21 Supercar which can be bought from the Legendary Motorsport website in-game. The new update will also include discounts on the Mammoth Hydra aeroplane, Vom Feuer Anti-Aircraft Trailer, Buckingham Valkyrie chopper, HVY APC vehicle, Phantom Wedge truck, and the Route 68 Bunker. These will be available until August 21st with an impressive 25% discount.
For the following week, there will be double money and RP rewards throughout the Gunrunning Sell missions and the Sumo and Slasher modes. Clothe items will also gifted for free for those players who complete a Sell Mission before August 21st.
