Earlier this year, EA announced the release of Titanfall 2, the sequel to initial Titanfall game. Titanfall 2 is set to release October 28th. EA have now released a new teaser trailer for the game as you can see below. While only 30 seconds long, the trailer shows a new connection or relationship between the Titans and Pilots. The Titan shown in the trailer, greets the Pilot with a “Welcome back” message, which the pilot then responds with: “It’s good to be back”. This isn’t something we saw in the first Titanfall game, it’ll be exciting to see what lengths the mech’s AI will span. You can see what kind of special abilities the Titans will have in the new game by reading here.
EA responded to fan’s requests, and have released a full, single-player, story-driven campaign. This will most likely increase sales alone, as players won’t be restricted to the online gameplay. Titanfall 2 will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox. Unlike the first Titanfall, which was only available on Microsoft platforms. EA believes this will be the main factor in increasing sales. Chief financial officer, Blake Jorgesen, said “this is due to the increase number of people with current-gen consoles”.
The hardware requirements have not yet been released however sites such as, game-debate.com, have guessed the game will require a top end GPU, like a GTX 907, or AMD R9 390. They also speculated that the processor power required will be around that of an i7-4820k or AMD FX-9370. If you’re planning on buying the game on PS4 or Xbox, this isn’t something you need to worry about.
